Frequently Asked Questions
When does the match take place?
The game is on Sunday 8 October at Stark’s Park. Kick Off is 2pm but players will get the full build up from 1pm including a warm-up on the pitch and team talk from the managers.
Can friends and family come along to watch?
Yes. The Main Stand will be open from 1pm and we’d encourage everyone to come along and give their support. Last year’s crowd really entered into the spirit of the game and made it a great experience for all.
How do I make a Bid?
Simply click on the “Bid Now” link which will create an email, then send your bid in with your name, address and evening telephone number. Alternatively you can call James Proctor on (07801 815784) to give your details. If you’d rather take the uncertainty out of things then you can simply buy the jersey for £200 (£125 half game) and secure your place.
How fit do I have to be to take part?
Some basic fitness will obviously help you get the most out of the day but fitness and ability levels will vary widely throughout the teams. The most important thing is just to get out there and enjoy yourself.
What do I get for my money?
Apart from a totally unique experience of playing alongside some Rovers legends on Stark’s Park each player will receive a medal, T-shirt and photograph to commemorate the day.
